What are the different types of Supervised Visitation available?
Observation: The monitors role is to observe and document all interactions that occur within eye shot and ear shot of the monitor. The monitor is not to intervene unless the non-custodial party violates law, policies, or procedures, including threats to the childs emotional or physical safety. If either the CP or NCP asks for assistance in supporting the child in the visitation or exchange process, the monitor may provide it. The monitor will offer unsolicted assistance if it is clear the CP or NCP could make the situation easier for the child(ren.) The monitor makes suggestions to the parent about age-appropriate and interest-appropriate ways to engage or support the child(ren) during the supervised visitation.
