What are the different types of social workers out there?
There are many types of social workers, who do different things according to their specific role, but also very similar in many aspects, where they need to empower, mentor, support and liaises with other agencies, and have the ability to identify issues as they may arise, even teaching people how to develop their own skills etc to overcome problems. Types of social workers are; Family – works with the family as a whole group, where they may need support to work through many issues that arise, such as education of the child, family breakdown etc. School – works with the child’s family and the school, to get the best outcomes and support for the child, similar to the family social worker, and so much more.
