What are the different types of skin cancer?
There are three different kinds of skin cancer that have been categorized medically. The commonest type of skin cancer is called basal cell carcinoma. Carcinoma is the medical term for cancer. The biggest and most prominent cause of basal cell carcinoma is excessive exposure to the harmful rays of the sun. Since the dramatic depletion of the ozone layer, the rays of the sun contain a higher degree of ultra violet rays, x-rays and radiation. All of these contents lead to the rays being particularly harmful and causing problems such as basal cell carcinoma.
