What are the different types of RVs?
RVs comprise an entire family of vehicles that combine transportation and living quarters for recreation, camping, and travel. They span the spectrum of luxury. While the most basic RVs simply provide places for sleeping and eating, others are equipped with basic conveniences such as power, running water, and kitchen and bathroom facilities, and still others offer added comforts such as air conditioning, entertainment systems, and even hot tubs. RVs are either motorized (Class A, B, and C motorhomes), or towable units (folding camping trailers, truck campers, travel trailers, and fifth-wheel travel trailers).
