What are the different types of Reiki taught by the Reiki Center of Greater Washington? Which one is the most effective?
Our Reiki Center teaches the Usui System of Natural Healing, the original Western school passed down from Mikao Usui to his descendents and the west via Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata. We also teach the Karuna Reiki (R) method, developed by William Rand of the International Center of Reiki Training in Southfield, Michigan and Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki, techniques developed by Patrick Zeigler that connects Reiki energies with the energies of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. The Usui system works well for physical and emotional healing and distant healing. The Karuna Reiki (R) system works on a cellular level to break up old patterns and to assist in releasing long-held conflicts and inbalances. Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki (SSR) may be used to clear body memories and past life issues or to do a type of work we call Reiki Regression (TM).
