What are the different types of floor joist and what are they used for?
There are several different type of joist on the market, ranging from the conventional sawn timber to engineered brands such as easi-joist. Engineered joists are a little more expensive but they make it much easier to are more rigid, helping restrict noise, and using easi-joist to fit plumbing and other services.
