What are the different types of childrens nurses and what do they do ?
I don’t know nearly all of them, but there is just a pediatric nurse that does the normal duties you would with an adult (except tweaked for children), a nurse that works in the nursery and doesn’t do a whole lot of medical procedures, and NICU nurse, which stands for neonatal intensive care unit, so its the IC unit for babies, the nurses take care of all kinds of sick newborns, like premature babies, underdeveloped organs, and, the more often than expected, cardiac arrest, to name a few, before being release to the parents.
