What are the different types of Brachial Plexus injuries?
An Erbs Palsy Injury is a specific brachial plexus injury which involves injury to the upper trunk nerves- C5, C6 and sometimes C7. Klumpkes Palsy is an injury to the lower trunk nerves- usually C7, C8, and sometimes T1. Erbs/ Klumpe Palsy is a combination of the Erbs Palsy and the Klumpkes Palsy where all the nerves are involved to some degree. Horners Syndrome- is when facial nerves are also involved.
