What are the different Trainer Cards?
You initially start off with the Blue Trainer Card. This is then upgraded to a Green Card when you get the first Trainer Star, for beating the Elite Four. When you get the second Trainer Star, for catching 150 Pokemon, your Trainer Card is upgraded to a Bronze Card. To upgrade it again to a Silver Card, you need to get the third trainer star, for catching 382 Pokemon (this excludes Mew, Celebi, Deoxys and Jirachi). It isn’t certain yet how to upgrade to Gold or Platinum Cards, but it is most likely using the Wireless Adapter, Trading with a Friend or Battling with a Friend, or Trading with R/S or Colosseum.
