What are the different throws in Ultimate Frisbee called?
Throws are really hard to expalin my advice is youtube them cos there are some great instructional videos, at my club we teach the new ones how to throw but you can only really do it person! heres the throws names: useful: forehand backhand hammer scoober (like a forehand but across the shoulder upside down) useful for breaking the force, requires a lot of flick hammer-forehand grip over your head at diagonal angle air-bounce- push the rim down as you let go with your thumb with force and it flies down slighty then rises again blade/knife- just a hammer but realease at a near vertical postion stupid throws but impress your mates 😉 thumber- thumb on the rim with the disc on the outside of your hand, throw with a limp wrist chicken wing and spinal- hold your hand out like a sock puppet and put the disc in then do a cricket bowl motion with your arm and at the top flick your wrist. a spinal is the same but put the disc the other way up Ultimate is an amazing sport!!
