What are the different teams at Spitfire?
After tryouts players are ranked from most to least skilled. Field players ranked one through nine are placed on the Red team. Players 10 to 18 are placed on the black team, and players 19 to 27 are placed on the white team. Each team gets one to two goalies. The U14 white team and U12 black team play in leagues and are called league-only teams. If the U12s or the U14 league-only teams attend play days with other clubs, or have the opportunity to go a tournament, parents must pay those costs. Those teams will be sent to tournaments only if their coaches believe they have mastered the necessary skills to play at a competitive event.
