What are the different security roles?
There are numerous security roles in the system – for Time, PA, Payroll, OM, FICO, EH&S, T&E, etc. ^Top 6. How are security roles established? The roles (access to functions in the system) are applied to each position (your job) based on input from each agency. These have been tested to make sure they include all the tasks that the person in the position will need to perform. ^Top 7. How can I add a security role to my position? Each agency will have designated security contacts. Multiple security roles can be applied to each position. Additional security roles can be requested through these security contacts. If additional access is needed in a role, or new roles need to be created, it will be requested through the same agency security contact, and will go through testing and quality verification before it is moved to production. ^Top 8.
