There are two different methods for meal planning; component/food based or nutrient based menus. Within component/food based there is a Traditional Menu or there is an Enhanced Menu. Both menus are easy to use and provide the key nutrients to students. The nutrient standard menu planning can be on site (Nutrient Standards Menus) or can be out sourced (Assisted Nutrient Standard Menus). This menu option analyzing each nutrient over a one week period to ensure that the students are receiving the key nutrients.
