We are proud to offer a variety of care levels in our facility. Some common terms you may hear are: Subacute Care – This care level is for residents who are admitted directly from an acute care setting (hospital) and have multiple medical problems. The care level is very high, requiring a myriad of complex medical services. Medicare Part A may pay for this care level as well as private insurance or managed care insurance. Skilled Care – The skilled care resident requires 24 hour nursing care. Generally this care is of a more technical nature than the family can handle at home. This care level may qualify a resident for limited Medicare coverage. The determination of the resident’s stay under Medicare is made by the facilities Utilization Review committee. Private insurance and managed care coverage may also pay for this type of care. Intermediate Care – The majority of our residents require intermediate care.
