What are the different kinds of carpets/and of flooring available these days and when are they usually used?
A. The options are: Loop pile carpets – Berbers, Twist carpets & Axminster, all types of hard flooring including Karndean, Amtico, wood floors including natural – solid wood (known also as engineered wood) and laminates. It’s all down to personal taste – but often people go for hard flooring in hallways but more and more people are having hard flooring right through the house particularly in downstairs rooms. Always link in your flooring with the design side of things.
