Each Microsoft Access TimeTiger database, as of version 1.8, consists of 2 separate files. The MDB file contains the main database tables. The MDW file contains the security information required for Microsoft Access database security. The LDB file, which is only present when the TimeTiger database is in use, contains information about database locks made by the different database users. It is very important that you back up both the MDB file and MDW file when backing up your TimeTiger database.
