In a traditional track meet (dual or invitational) there are 17 different events that an athlete can compete in. They are allowed to compete as a GOLD SHIRT in at most 4 events. We may enter them in other events as an exhibition competitor for training purposes- Field Events: Discus, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump and Pole Vault. The order of these alternates yearly. Running events, in order of occurance during a traditional meet are: (Incidentally, one lap around the track is 400M!
