What are the different categories of messages that the T3 sends out?
A. The T3 sends out messages (determined by the “loglevel” setting) in four categories. You designate in the T3’s /etc/syslog.conf which of these levels to RECEIVE and where to receive them. Generally, they’ll go to the T3’s /syslog file and, if so configured, to a remote host (recommended). See below for the table and description of the four message categories. See p.4-13 of the T3 Administrator’s Guide or p.C-2 of the T3 Field Service Manual for further details.
