What are the different categories of dispute?
A dispute can relate to an employee’s complaint against receiving a warning, being demoted or dismissed, and in this instance the employee should raise an appeal. A dispute can also relate to a grievance an employee may have, for example concerning a complaint of bullying/harassment/discrimination/victimisation. In this case the employee should raise a grievance with the employer and set out details of the grievance.
