What are the differences between whole house units and softeners?
Softeners use salt to push minerals like iron and calcium out of the water much like the way insulin pushes sugar out of blood. Our systems are designed to remove chemicals and heavy metals, while leaving in the good, healthy minerals. The EQ-300 will only reduce calcium and iron down to 5 microns with mechanical filtration.
