What are the differences between the TOTO flushes and which one is considered the best?
TOTO now has 6 flushes to consider – Gravity Feed, Siphon Jet Gravity, Power Gravity, G-Max, Cyclone, and Dual Max. • TOTO Gravity Feed toilets direct 100% of the water to enter the bowl through the rim, causing a bit of a splash in the bottom of the bowl when it is flushed. Gravity Feed models generally have a 2″ flush valve, a slightly smaller trap diameter at 1-7/8″ and utilize the more traditional ballcock fill valve (big floating ball). Gravity Feed toilets include the TOTO Carusoe and the TOTO Promenade. • TOTO Siphon Jet Gravity flush is exclusive to the TOTO Dalton. This toilet, like the Gravity Feed, still contains the traditional ballcock fill valve while incorporating a siphon jet washout at the bottom of the bowl. With a siphon jet, a portion of the water that would traditionally enter the bowl along the rim is diverted and enters the bowl at the very bottom and ejects directly into the trapway, creating much less disturbance and forcing the waste directly out the bottom of
