The difference between the X-Gamer and the MP3+ is the software that is bundled with the card. To see a complete list of the software bundle for each card go to the product information for each card. It will be listed under Specifications. The Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1 has a software bundle that includes games and audio editing software. The Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1 also comes with a Live! Drive IR with goes in a 5 1/4″ bay in the front of your computer and provides many more inputs and outputs. It also comes with a wireless remote that works through an infrared receiver on the Live! Drive IR.
