What are the differences between the MS, MSCE, and MSEnvE degree requirements?
To receive the MSCE degree, a student must have an undergraduate degree specifically in Civil Engineering. The MSENVE degree requires an undergraduate degree in engineering, but the area does not matter. The undesignated, MS, degree is for students who do not meet the undergraduate degree requirements. Otherwise, the course requirements are generally the same, except that the MSENVE also requires either a thesis or research project.
