The V-Smart MiFare contains a MiFare smart card reader (Gemplus GemEasyLink680SL) and supports the MiFare smart technology developed by Philips Semiconductors. The V-Smart iCLASS contains an iCLASS smart card reader (HID iCLASS model R10) and supports the iCLASS smart card technology developed by HID. There is no difference in the functionality or features of these two devices other than the type of smart card technology supported.
