What are the differences between the Mac and Windows versions of the Host Software?
– We are constantly working to provide consistent features between all supported platforms. The Mac and Windows versions offer the same features except for the following: 1) Only Windows users can selectively choose single applications to show, whereas Mac users can only share their entire desktop; 2) Windows Hosts will see a Red outline (or Green outline for GP4) during sharing, while Mac Hosts will not; 3) Windows Hosts can hide the GatherPlace client view, and Mac Hosts cannot; and 4) the Mac software client and the Guest Java viewer allow automatic scaling of the Presenter View, while the Windows software client does not allow scaling.
