What are the differences between the Full Medical and the Small Practice editions of Dragon Medical 10.1?
• Radiology and Pathology vocabularies NOT included in Small Practice edition. These specialized vocabularies contain 100s of specialized words, phrases and expected acronyms. The use of the specialized vocabulary saves a lot of time in final editing and reduces Dragon’s misinterpretation of the professional’s voice. Small Practice does contain 14 other specialty vocabularies. (Listed in another FAQ) • Hidden Mode NOT included in Small Practice edition. This feature allows the user to invoke a “hidden” or invisible text box for dictation. This allows the computers cursor focus to be on another application like an X-ray, Medical Chart, lab specimen, etc. While the user speaks with their focus on the relevant application, their words are being written down in the hidden text box. At the user’s discretion he can place the cursor in a document or EMR field and say “Transfer Text” which causes Dragon to place all the text spoken during the hidden mode session at that place. • Correction onl
