There are two main differences between the two models. The Explorer Plus roof tent features a roofed-over entrance, which needs to be pegged down with two guy ropes in windy conditions (unless an Explorer Plus Annex is attached to the tent) to prevent the entrance cover from flapping. The Explorer doesn’t require pegging down. Also, the add-on Gordigear roof tent annex is available in different versions to match your roof tent. Apart from that, both tents are made from the same material and provide exactly the same mattress space.5.
