What are the differences between the English and American education systems?
Similarly, I have no idea on what the difference between the UK and the US system of primary and secondary education is. I’ve heard very controversial views on the subject: most people who sent their kids to the American school here do not regret it and recommend the school, but others have strong reservations against American education system & values it teachers, claiming that it reflects the American way of thinking (taken in the bad sense of course). Regarding the British school, the feedback is generally good as well, but I’ve heard that British education is very narrowly focused on those pupils who are willing to learn themselves, that there’s no individual approach to every pupil, and hence there’s a big gap, even within a single classroom, between those who are “willing to learn” and those who are not.
