What are the differences between the commercial version and the Student Edition of Pro/MECHANICA?
A. The Student Edition includes features, which make it uniquely suited for personal, educational use. These restrictions do not inhibit personal, educational use of the software. The differences from the commercial software are: • Pro/MECHANICA Student Edition modules are accessible only via the Pro/ENGINEER Student Edition user interface (i.e. as integrated functionality) and will not operate as standalone applications. The interoperability and security restrictions as described for the Pro/ENGINEER Student Edition also apply to Pro/MECHANICA models and objects. • Pro/MECHANICA Student Edition does not have access to floating options. • Plotted deliverables generated using Pro/MECHANICA Student Edition will display plot banner along the four page borders indicating that the object being printed was created with an educational version of Pro/MECHANICA.
