The main differences between the two aircraft are that the Chinook Plus 2 is a tail dragger and the Beaver RX550 Plus is a tri-gear. The Chinook has a fully enclosed cabin and the Beaver does not at this time. The Beaver also has a molded fiberglass fairing for its body, the Chinook is made of aluminum, fabric and lexan.
