What are the differences between the “1 GHz/867 MHz” PowerBook G4 models?

0

Please note that the “1 GHz/867 MHz” PowerBook G4 series was introduced on November 6, 2002 and discontinued September 16, 2003. The differences between the PowerBook G4/867 (Ti) and PowerBook G4/1.0 (Ti) are quite minor. Both use the Titanium case, 15.2″ widescreen (1280×854) display, and effectively the same motherboard as the PowerBook G4 “DVI” series that these models replaced. However, the “1 GHz/867 MHz” models have faster processors and improved graphics capabilities. The PowerBook G4/1.0 (Ti) also is notable for being the first notebook to ship standard with a “SuperDrive” capable of writing DVD media.
