What are the differences between short-rise and mid-rise automotive lifts?
Short-rise automotive lifts are generally defined as lifts that have a short rise height (Challenger Lifts SRM10 has a rise of 22″). These are ideal for brake and tire work since they do not require a tall rise height for their application. Mid-rise automotive lifts are scissor style lifts that feature a medium rise height (Challenger Lifts MR6 has a rise of 53-1/4″).
