Selecting a avatar already on the site is self explanatory, and uploading an avatar is restricted to admins ONLY!, but to use a remote avatar you will need the URL (ex. http://www.photobucket.com/user/mypic.png) of the pic and it needs to be under (wxh) 120 pixels. x 100 pixels.
