A. Each is a different specification. OATH uses a different algorithm (SHA-1) to generate the OTP whereas EMV and CAP use 3DES type of algorithm to generate the OTP. CAP is the MasterCard specific implementation. EMV/CAP will probably be used by banks that already issue EMV cards and have an EMV backend for transactions.
