What are the differences between NAWPI 2.7 and EDU/002?
NAWPI 2.7 differs from EDU/002 in the following ways:(a) NAWPI 2.7 included maintained secondary and special schools in the LEA figures, EDU/002 also includes PRUs(b) NAWPI 2.7 included GCSE/GCSE short courses, GNVQ/NVQ or ELQ. “Approved external qualification” in EDU/002 includes any qualification for the time being approved by the National Assembly for Wales under section 99 of the Learning and Skills ACT 2000, for the purposes of section 96 of that Act.(c) NAWPI 2.7 referred to leaving full-time education (i.e. pupil did not remain at school and did not continue elsewhere in full time education). EDU/002 refers to leaving full-time education, training or work based learning.
