What are the differences between live and recorded webcasts?
Live webcasting allows interaction with the audience. The audience is able to submit questions and have those questions answered right then and there by the presenters, just as though the web audience was physically attending the event. Often, the web audience will have more questions than the physical audience! Recorded webcasts, also known as on-demand webcasts, are available on a 24/7 basis and therefore more convenient for the audience. However, there is no real-time interaction. We typically recommend hosting a live webcast and recording it, capturing all of the original questions and answers, so it’s accessible to people who missed the live event.
