What are the differences between Honors sections and traditional course sections at UGA?
All courses at the University are taught by traditional UGA faculty. Three areas in which Honors students are likely to see differences within their Honors sections of courses are: smaller faculty to student ratios (average 1-17), more of an emphasis on discussion and group work instead of a lecture based format within the classroom, and courses themselves tend to be more academically enhanced due to a student’s contact with primary sources.
