What are the differences between essential oils and Bach Flower Remedies?
Essential oils are concentrated plant fragrances that have a distinct smell and effect on the olfactory system. Often, Bach Flower Remedies have no smell at all. They are extracted by soaking flower petals in distilled water and leaving them in sunlight. Brandy is later added as a preservative. Bach flower remedies are known to be very effective, specifically for emotional issues such as grief, depression and subtle energy balancing. Essential oils contain no alcohol, although some alcohol is used in the process of certain essential oils, which is later distilled off.
