A. DuPont CORIAN is a solid surface material: non-porous, hygienic, practical, and easy to clean. Its ideal for work surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, and food service businesses. CORIAN is available in many colors and patterns, and may be used for indoor or outdoor applications. CORIAN meets NSF/ANSI STANDARD 51 for SANITATION IN COMMERCIAL FOOD SERVICE ENVIRONMENTS. ZODIAQ (also manufactured by DuPont) is an engineered product, consisting of 93% quartz material. The material is heat-resistant, non-porous, sanitary, easy to clean, and available in beautiful, glossy finishes. There is a 10 year warranty for both CORIAN AND ZODIAQ. Because it is a natural product, the color and pattern is random. Unlike CORIAN, granite is porous. Therefore it should be sealed periodically.
