Bose® Companion® 2 multimedia speakers consist of two speakers and connect to a PC/laptop’s headphone or audio line out jack. Bose® Companion® 3 multimedia speakers have two sleek satellite speakers and an Acoustimass® (bass) module. It also connects to the PC/laptop’s headphone or audio line out jack. Bose® Companion® 5, like the Companion® 3, is a 2.1 system, meaning it has two satellite speakers and the Acoustimass® module. It connects to your computer through a USB connection.
