The chalets are fixed cedarwood “lodges”, each with sliding patio doors and a decked verandah; they are larger than caravans and the kitchens boast a proper fridge-freezer (whereas the fridges in the caravans just have a small freezer compartment). Really it’s just a matter of personal preference!
