What are the differences between a numbered and lettered chapbook?

0

Numbered chapbooks are paperbacks; that is, they have a cardstock cover, and are “saddle-stitched,” or stapled, while the lettered chapbooks are actually miniature hardcover books, which we have bound by hand in Vermont. Sometimes, as in Monsters and Other Stories by Richard Chizmar, the lettered hardcover contains material not in the numbered paperback.
