What are the differences between a new, continuing and returning student?
A new student has never attended Delta College before. A continuing student has attended the previous semester and is continuing to the new semester. A returning student is one who attended Delta in the past and is returning to Delta. Returning students may need to update their admissions application. If you are a returning student who has been out of school for a few years or more, you may want to utilize our ReEntry Program in the Career Transfer Center, on the 2nd floor of the DeRicco Student Services Building.
