Regards the Lifeguard qualifications the level of commitment is considerable more than Royal Bronze and both Beach and Pool Lifeguard are considered professional qualifications and in general they run on a very formal NVQ style structure. The qualification currently remains valid for about two years and unless you have a friendly club like ours the costs can quickly run into many hundreds of pounds per person every two years. The costs being made up of Examiner fees, Trainer fees and Pool time fees.
