What are the differences between a home health aide, nurse and social worker?
A. A home health aid assists the patient with doing light chores, such as cooking, cleaning, or giving baths. A nurse will monitor the patients vital signs, like take blood pressure, heart rate, change wounds, anything that is medical. A social worker can provide mental health or substance abuse counseling and case maangement services for the patient in the home.
