What are the differences between a frog and a toad?

Simple, a frog is a frog and a toad is a toad.

A frog has smooth skin and a toad has warts. Frogs spend most of their lives in water and toads usually live on land. They return to the water to lay eggs and to fertilize the eggs.

A frog typically has smoothe slimy skin and basically has a more streamlined look. Toads typically have warts, are more “chubby”.
