What are the differences between a black token and the grey token?
A. There are two styles, but they are identical in operation. Not all LLNL services can use all tokens at this time. During the initial deployment, some users may have a black token, some a grey token, and some may have both. If you have a black token only, you can use it for LC computers, remote access and Institutional services. If you have a grey token only, you can use it for remote access, Institutional services, and Windows login. If you have both a black and a grey token, you must use the black token for LC computers and remote access and you must use the grey token for Institutional services and Windows login. Note: If you have two tokens and use the wrong one you may lock your other token. The grid below will help you determine which token(s) can be used for what services. Q.
