What are the differences between 1-way and 2-way OFX services?
2-way OFX is also called “Direct OFX.” It allows your customers to use products that support OFX, such as Microsoft Money, MSN Money, and Office Accounting to connect directly to a financial institution OFX server. Your customers can request statements, initiate transfers, send payment requests, and send OFX mail. 1-way OFX, also referred to as “Active Statement” or “Web Connect,” requires that your customers manually log on to your Web site, select their account, select their date range, and then download their statement. Depending upon your Web configuration, customers may need to follow these steps for each individual account.
