What are the differences and similarities between the movie “Troy” and real ancient Greece? ?
I found troy to be pretty close to the actual story and real greece in: Armor Weapons Dress Gods The party at the beginning is very similar to an actual party back then Troy was a real city Achilles did drag Hector around and defile his body Troy fell at the trojan horse The greeks conquered many other countries Achilles died by being shot in the heel It was a little incosistent in that: I’m pretty sure Paris and Helen met in a different way Paris was a HUGE playboy I don’t think Achilles was with the priestess girl at any point I found the movie to be very enjoyable and pretty accurate as far as movies go.
