What are the difference between Gas Impingement vs. Gas Piston?
Most of the malfunction issues associated with M4 current design can be attributed to the use of the gas impingement system: * Failure to fire due to overheating under sustained fire * Malfunction as a result of debris sticking to lubricant in the bolt carrier or upper receiver The Gas Piston Operating System used in all POF-USA rifles prevents hot gases and carbon fouling from entering the upper receiver and making contact with the moving, integral parts of our weapon system.
